Pinch weights
To the collective Brain Trust:
Pinch weights v regular old school weights... What are the advantages? Among pinch weights: Neptonics type, Tinman pattern, any other... Is there a preference? Why? Thanks All |

Re: Pinch weights
Pinch weights shouldn't move on your belt, neptonics I believe pinch from 2 directions so they work on more belts, I bought mine from a guy named jjjeremy on the board, he casts his own from a neptonics cast, otherwise they are kinda pricey

Re: Pinch weights
Update:
I got the mold to cast the Neptonics type pinch weight. The mold works really well, and casting was kinda fun. Reading here about casting contributed to the good results. I only had to recast one. I am using a Rob Allen belt and so far they seem to work perfectly on it. Once I got a system going it took no time at all to cast 25 pounds of lead. This should hold us for little while. |
