Re: Land Hunting Perma Thread

Nah, it was pretty mangled. Clipped the wing for my buddy's dog to train with and breasted it out. Bacon wrapped for an appetizer. It's dense where I am hunting them. I didn't bring my chokes for some stupid reason and only had a mod choke in. So that, combined with shots at 5-15 yards doesn't do well.... haha. Can't wait for chukar and getting on the Eastern side of the Sierras. I'll get some pics when ducks open.

Make sure you eat it, besides the long tails that are protected around here you won't find a better wild game meat.

Squeaking by sucking on your hand quietly can draw them in, they are super awesome critters and are delicious.

Just salt and pepper and toss on the grill...very clean , white, meat. Bobcat backstraps are a favorite treat here.

You can use it about the same way as pork. Cook similarly.

Wasted ? They're already wearing $200-$600 worth of designer ,renewable fur .

And they taste great stewed with potatos, onions and mushrooms.

Mark is wanting some of my beaver summer sausage. Yet another dinner that brings its own jacket.

Nevermind the beaver, Mark just wants some of your sausage.
