was out on the boat yesterday in front of watch hill and there was a school of albacore tuna out there about 75 yards off shore caught 3 lost about dozen they hit like freight trains

I swam through a school of them two weeks ago off the blocks southwest end, I thought they were blues at first!

I think I seen them at watch hill yesterday night thought they were baby blues they were about 6 inches long and there were tons of then it was pretty cool

I saw one of those albocore tunas at Fort Adams at about 35 feet of water on weekend.

My brother took me on my first scuba dive this afternoon at Wetherill. Just did a quick run in the divers cove but once you got past the grass the viz opened up to 4-6'. Nasty S wind blowing. There were hundreds of small BSB there though, really cool to see on scuba

You guys are talking about False Albacore, correct? They are incredibly different than Albacore Tuna. The only thing similar is the fight they put up. False albies would be considered unpalatable by many, while Albacore tuna are found on every grocery store shelf from Maine to Mexico.

Bonito, on the other hand, are very similar in size/shape/coloration and are absolutely delicious. They also show up around the same time.
