South Texas Visability?

I'm going out this weekend to do my Nitrox cert. dives. I've been out of town since before Alex came to visit.

Has anyone been out since the storm?

Re: South Texas Visability?

Clarity was very strange this weekend. We came upon this color change at 25 miles. There was a strip of clear blue out to 28 miles, then it got green again.

30 mile rigs off Packery are all under construction right now, so we hung on the rip line and caught/ speared chicken dolphin all day.

I've not seen that image before. Is it as simple as "it's clear where the water looks blue?" If so, I need to start looking at that website.

Thinking about going out on a charter boat either tomorrow (Little Sara) or Sunday (Texas Clipper). Is it worth it?
