Brown Meagre world Record

Hi

On march I fish a big brown Meagre, A friend of mine insisted to apply for a record for this specie and I tried , After a long process has been registered.

I know that is just an ephemeral record as they grow more in other places.(Corsica,Sardinia,African Med...)

Hope you'll like

That is quite an impressive ledge! Fish looks very similar to our drum.

Congratulations on your new record!

nice capture!
this fish is most of the time speared in reef/ caves
pretty tasty to eat
protected in France and Turkey for years because of the fishing pressure

Thank you Virgili! You are right this is one of the top ten tasty fishes in Med!

Always on shadows and caves as the are nocturnal, I don`t like fishing them inside caves always ambushes near the entrances at sunset when they are waiting the dark.
