A Perfect Day
What is a perfect day for me? Well, last year on the outer reefs of the Great Barrier Reef, over 300 miles from the coast of Australia I had a perfect day... well... it was pretty close.
The water was warm and blue with a visibility over 130 ft, the seas were slight and there were Wahoo everywhere. My mate Taka took his first wahoo and I took my biggest to date 75lbs. We managed to catch some of the action on video and here is the clip I made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5B-xRFvmW8 Cheers, Judge

Re: A Perfect Day
Hey Angela. We had a great year on the Coral Sea outer reefs with the wahoo. My good friend Ash even took the Australia Wahoo record with a 50kg specimen. We head up there Oct - Dec. After that it is in the tropical cyclone (Hurricane) season and not a good time to travel to those reefs.
Cheers, Judge

Re: A Perfect Day
Awright Judge, so once you are done with the Coral Sea, the timing would be so that you can just come on over to Hawaii!

Re: A Perfect Day
Thanks for your comments on the Perfect Day video. I appreciate the feed back. I have not long returned from the Coral Sea... 2007 trip and I have knocked up a couple of videos and posted them on a new thread... Called Out in the Blue.
