Re: Slayfest on the Hypnautical
Like the boots Mikey? Commercial baby!!!
Sharks were pretty bad that day, Rob shot videos of the sharks before we pulled the trigger, once they heard the trigger go off, it was on!!! but Rob was too busy getting my back so no video As for the black socks, they breath a lot better on hot sunny days Hope all is well bud and that you get a chance to get out there soon, cobes were thick! Thanks to Captain John and special thanks to Rob for always having my back!!! |

Re: Slayfest on the Hypnautical
One of the guys in the pics was intervied about the shark bite incident ( and how he helped save his buddy)
Was the diving similar? Rob, does the attack make you feel any different about shooting when sharks are present. Of course, my alterior motive is to protect those beautiful dive legs of yours. Hey, wait a second, when you brought them in for repairs last time.... was there any shark involvement in that breakage or just brute, Murphy trauma |

Re: Slayfest on the Hypnautical
FYI - he is the fellow who built the prosthetics for Rob.

As for the damage to the dive legs last month, that was just brute Murphy trauma, no shark involvement. with the new reinforcements, I don't think even I will be able to break them again. btw love the new avatar pic! |

Re: Slayfest on the Hypnautical
Since one of my divers got hit by a bull two summers ago, I have been re-examining everything about my diving. I have seen shark behavior changing over the years, at least it looks like it is changing to me. Either way, with the unpredictablility in wild animals, and the way sharks can get turned on, I am very wary to spear around them, even if they are not aggressive. I am not afraid of sharks otherwise.
You said that well... having a friend get hit by a shark is humbling. It was that much worse for me, because I was running the boat and pulled him our of the water with his calf muscle hanging off. Its a dangerous sport that I love. I want to minimize the risks. That said, I have no problem with other people pouring blood in the water and swimming with bulls... it helps my busines plan |

Re: Slayfest on the Hypnautical
Great Video…... Glad everyone in the NE FL is on board with the .33 cent solution when it comes to that behavior, scary stuff.

Awesome video Rob, and excellent music choice. Those are some FAT cobes, and some nice shot placement. Now those cobia need to just make their way to Jax.
