50lb. Barracuda

Here's my first place Barracuda at the Hell Divers Rodeo. I knew he was big when we hung him from one of those Rapala Scales, the scale hit 55lb. then the chain broke.

That one needed to die before it spread that funk around. Nice work!

Re: 50lb. Barracude

Story: Bear with me, I've had like 5 Vox on the Rocks,

We left the blue water cause I was almost bent, and we jumped back into the dirt.

I'm swimming around and Terry "papa Smurf" Migaud is yelling underwater about something big on the surface, meanwhile he's jackin off with a jackfish. I swim to the other side of the rig only to find this huge cuda coming at me with his back hunched and mouth open. He was defending his territory. It was then that I realized what Papa Smurf was yelling about. He was heading between two pipes with only a 2' clearance. Usually when you shooot one of these "bad boys" they drag you so fast your mask flies off your head.

Especially for the Hell Divers Rodeo, the norm is "shoot first and ask questions later", this was not the position to shoot this fish, and when he made his run I jammed both fins against the two rig legs and managed to stop him without my arm getting ripped off. After that I let him beat his own ass on the pipes till he ran out of energy.

This is my biggest cuda to date.

Story done,,,,,,,,,,
