Double Trouble

has anyone here used a double trigger gun? i was thinking of making one for slaying hogfish seeing as they are usually in pairs, two shafts would be nice.

Re: Double Trouble

You posted this in the Miami and Florida keys section, which means even more baby hogs will be killed. Nice

Re: Double Trouble

Not a attitude, it's sarcasm

I'll explain

In Miami and the Keys, hogs that are in pairs (like you mentioned) or small schools have barely reached sexual maturity. That's why I mentioned killing baby hogs.

You said I take legal hogs (which are 12" hogs)
Just because there legal doesn't mean they aren't babies

Re: Double Trouble

Alright, I'll take your word for it.

Several years back Picasso made a twin century speargun. I haven't seen them available anymore here in the US at any dive shops.

They still do have them in some dive shops in Europe, I checked a couple of years back and found a shop that still had some in stock.

Neptonic systems sells most if not all the parts you'll need. Try shooting two hogs with one shaft, fun stuff.

Re: Double Trouble

Just bring two guns. Or a gun and a three prong.
Or shit just shoot one and then quickly reload and get the other one. An over/under gun For hogs( or any fish really) would be way to cumbersome.
