2004 24' Key Largo 236 w/twin Yamaha 115 4 strokes
The wife and I are in the process of building a new house and have ran into a few extra costs ( she wants a swimming pool) and some of the toys have to go. The "Bad Neighbor" is a 2004 Key Largo model 236. For those who are not familiar with this boat, it's the model with the 9'6" beam and walk in center console. I purchased the boat a few years ago from an older gentlemen in Tampa with only 245 hours on it. I am the second owner. I have made many upgrades to the boat it has been maintained and serviced according to schedule. Here is the info:
Custom T-Top with Cobia tower ( $4300 installed prior to mini season 2015) Lewmar Windlass ( new August 2016) Lenco Trim Tabs ( new July 2015) Garmin EchoMap 70 Plotter/ Sonar FUSION Stereo System w/speakers ($1300 system) Salt Water wash down TONS OF STORAGE Dual Tackle Stations 30 gal livewell (2) large fish boxes that actually hold ice! Walk in center console ( perfect for a portalet or storage) Uniden VHF tower mounted 8' VHF antenna New Anchor Rode and chain ( 200' of rope, 10' of chain) (2) 2003 Yamaha 115 4 strokes w/ss props, aprox 500 hours 110 gallon fuel cell ( rebuilt July 2015) 2004 Performance Trailer( new axles, wheels and tires 2015) Coast Guard Ready T-Bag Speargun Rack Hydraulic Steering Teak Dive Ladder This is an all around good boat for diving and fishing and with the wide beam it's a great family boat. It's not a speed demon, but 115's run flawlessly and the fuel economy is very good. I have gotten as good as 3.2 mpg at 32 mph cruise fully loaded with gear, ice and three divers. I would say a good average is 2.75 if you keep it around the 30-32 mph range. I have taken this boat as far as the Middle Grounds and it has made 3 trips to the Keys. The T-Top is one of a kind and is great for lobstering and spot fishing for Cobia or Tarpon. I am asking $26,000 with a clear title for the boat and trailer. The trailer has been used very little with the exception of three trips to the Keys. I currently live on the Homosassa River and I am more than happy to take a serious buyer for a water test...no joy riders or tire kickers. Price Reduced to 25k, I also just had a full detail on the hull ( inside and out) and both engines were serviced.
