Re: 23' Fish Nautique $10,000

Alright. I am either keeping this boat or your offer must be one that I am comfortable with, depending on what kind of mood I am in. The only reason I was trying to blow this out at $10k was I was trying to finance a catamaran that I fell in love with. Well, the cat's still there but I am not in a hurry anymore. I have a friend who is fixing it for free, and I will be using it towards the end of summer. I will post videos when I finally run out for a spearfishing trip, I pray the oil doesn't beat me to it.

Re: 23' Fish Nautique $10,000

I am trying to switch this over to electronic ignition this month. Definitley keeping this boat now, too bad I couldn't get that cat, but I might as well finish this and use it for the winter. Spending most of my year getting my instructor cert and working my a$$ off.

Re: 23' Fish Nautique $10,000

Instead of trying to fool with this Chevy 350 OMC inboard, I decided to switch this over to an outboard in a year or so. My wiring is all messed up. I am losing my job in May two weeks after my daughter will be born. I really need to sell this engine which has maybe 20 hours total (half of that is on the hose in the yard). Asking $4,000 for the engine, $1,000 for the transmission (velvet drive), $800 for the risers and exhaust. You help pull and getting the engine and transmission out is on you. Call 863 860 0950 for questions.

I'll second that. You'll crush this boat with an eggbeater on the back. My friend sold his 23 FishNautique last year at $14k, it was more upgraded than yours but the market was worse. Get it running or let it go, you won't get close to what you're asking on that motor, especially if the buyer has to pull it. Truth.

Re: 23' Fish Nautique $10,000

Ya, I hear ya. I probably will keep the inboard. Wish I could find a descent inboard boat mechanic that could fix this right the first time and wire it as close to factory as possible. My problem is I thought that I was getting the job done right every single time I poured my wallet into it, but I can never get what I pay for. (Save the sayings, I know them all better than anyone) With the amount of money that has been spent, I should have either had this boat fixed three times over, or should have saved it and bought a newer used boat. The only reason I put my labor and love into this one is because it was my Grandpa's and I wanted to see him fish on it again before he dies. I fell in love with the lines, the hull will last forever, and I will probably cling to it until I die, but it's just a matter of getting the right combo of boat mech and having a little bit of money at that time. I am now looking at moving who knows where for job purposes, we'll see what happens this spring. I definitley know I need the engine wired and the carb gone through. I have a Seadoo GTX Di that I am thinking of parting out or would sell to fund this endeavor unless a boat mechanic would work a swap. With a baby on the way, you know how the money situation is.

Re: 23' Fish Nautique $10,000

Okay Dokay! Sell is back on. I need this boat gone today. Unfortunatley the engine does not fire up,..... The electrical situation needs some work. With a professional wiring harness and rewire, this would be back in business. The old points system has been swapped to an electronic igintion and for Christmas I installed a brand new trim tab system. Let me know if we can work a deal. I need to cover a months pay while in the middle of Marine Corps orders. I am asking 10,000 or best offer by the end of the week. I will also post on Craigslist and other means to sell. Call 863 860 0950 for any questions, pass the word around please and help me sell this boat.

Re: 23' Fish Nautique $10,000

Last offer at $8,500 for two more days, otherwise, I will sell a kidney and keep this beast (again). Last chance at a bargain, only needs a wiring harness and engine wires straightened out. Even throw in a set of downriggers. Call 863 860 0950, only have two more days.

Re: 23' Fish Nautique $10,000

Dude, if youre still having issues with the carb you might wanna run the numbers for the carb you have there. Im certainly no expert but it looks to me like an automotive carb, as opposed to a true marine carb. I had issues with my Holley 600s (small block Fords) and found through research that ther4e is a big difference between street and boat versions. The tell is the screw on top. The marine carbs have a NONadjustable needle/seat from the factory. May or may not help you, but hey...
