Good boat ramps for Anclote Key? (NOT Anclote River Park)
Looking for boat ramps other than Anclote River Park that are good for access to the Anclote Key area. I have 26' Glacier Bay and last time I went the ramp was slippery as cat shiz and the current was wicked nasty, drunks were loosing control and hitting other peoples boats... total mess.
Any recommendations for ramps in that area that are descent? |

I launch my 25 foot boat from Hooters (Nick's Park) 99% of the time. It is closer to Anclote than Clearwater.
You can park for free if a space is open, or pay $10 to the bait shop next door for their very ample parking space. Only one ramp, but if you are patient, or launch on a week day, it is all good. |

BTW, I hear you on Anclote. Total shit-show there, and the currents add to the chaos.
There is no current to speak of at Nick's Park. |

If the line to get your boat out of the water is too long at Nick's Park, you have the added bonus of pulling up to Hooters and having a beer and enjoying the view.

There's also a new restaurant on the other side of the Casino Boat dock that you can park your boat at while eating. Whiskey Joe's |
