My First ocean fish shot

Hi All:

On Tues. 6/19 I went to Tampa to do a spearfishing class with Chad Carney.
Here you see some of my first fish ever shot. I had a least four hog fish but lost them on the return to the boat. Chad is great to learn from. Not only experienced but very patient. I'm sorry I lost my first hog fish but glad it was not my gun. I can wait to again.

Re: My First ocean fish shot

It took me a couple of trips before I got fish I could keep. Good job and keep on killing.

Hogfish is my fav! Black iron skillet lightly breaded.

Re: My First ocean fish shot

Congrats on your first time! I rather lose my fish anyday rather than losing my gun. Diving wouldn't be the same without it.

Congrats on first fish and successful outing! Given you had a good first trip....I give you about 36 hours until your scheming on when the next one will be! Welcome to the addiction.
