Kudos to all SPUCS for an outstanding event!!
Obviously this is my first year being a SPUC member, and wow the esprit de corps is only beaten by one other collective group; the US ARMED FORCES! I enjoyed helping with the registration; (as some of you know we were caught in irons awaiting SEATOW fuel service) juxtaposed with the awards ceremony. A KICK ASS event!! I look forward to helping more next year and contributing more to any other endeavors as they arise!
Congratulations to any and everyone who helped with the 2006 St. Pete OPEN!!! Outstanding job everyone!!! Semper Fi |

Re: Kudos to all SPUCS for an outstanding event!!
Speaking for all the officers of the club, we had a great time putting it on. All the competitors were terrific, and it was one big 'ol fishy smelling party. We're putting some polish on a few things for next year; One of these will be more t-shirt size selection, and we've already got a staff put together to start selling them a little earlier at the weigh-in. Kudos to John Hermes for orchestrating the shirts this year, AND bagging the winning lobster!
