Technical Spearfishing Technical Scuba diving is generally defined as going deeper than 130 feet. You must have the proper training for this extreme aspect of spearfishing. |

season opener
Did my season opener yesterday on the 150 wood wreck. vis up top was a beautifull blue down to 40, then a funk layer 80 feet thick. The bottom opened up to a dark 40 foot plus. This wreck was alive with taug, sea bass, and of course lobstrosities. I spent the dive opening up ghost pots and liberateing some very thankfull sea creatures, and looking at the wreck. The visibility allowed a more complete survey of things and peices that now fit together in my mental picture better.
Gas was 25/20 and run time was 56 minutes. Eric |
