La Jolla Seabass?

Hey guys i wanted to go out of la jolla on sunday to get some white seabass on the inside kelp line and was wondering if thats the best place to try, and i would be going with a friend and swim out there on a bodyboard, anyone is welcome to come with us if they want.

itll prob be a zoo. It is every weekend. I dont really see most of the wsb on the inside kelp tho.

Noone is going to straight up tell you there are wsb in la jolla until they are gone...personnally dove last weeekend and i can vouch they were not there other than a couple babies(however those are always there) and its probably worth it just to swim rather than bodyboard because there will be a potential to be swimming over school of yt and wsb and then finding a bodyboard in the kelp is nopt gonna be easy

well we were just gonna take one board out because its a far swim and if we get tired we can rest and do you know how deep it is out of childrens pool to the kelp?

it varies it goes from about 30ft on the inside and 70ft on the outside

Albert!

The water turned over on Monday. I personally would give it another day or two before going to the outside kelp. The water was 66 and dirty--8'-12' viz.
