Four divers and a chef

Pizza night at my house with Alex Ray, Joel Olenik, Daryl Wong, and Dam Nguyen. I overheard a lot of great dive stories while making 8 pizzas.

The girls all told horse stories. Dam's boyfriend couldn't make it.

Re: Four divers and a chef

Daryl dove with someone in San Diego before coming up here and shot a 51 pounder. A 7-gill had it by the belly when he found it on the bottom and he had to stab it 5 times before it went away.

I didn't get one, but Joel got a GR Plus, the same gun model that Daryl used to shoot the fish in San Diego.

Daryl and I are going out today and tomorrow, and I hope he can restore a little magic to my boat. He saw lots of fish in San Diego though, so he would probably be better off staying down there.

Well hell. Daryl was already getting sick yesterday, and he woke up with a bad cough this morning. We're going to cancel and hope he feels better tomorrow.

OK Bill what kind of red wine was that? And why do you segregate the asian guys to one side?
Looks like a great time, I wish I could have heard those stories.

The was Sea Shell Low Tide, a blend from Paso Robles.

As far as the Asians go, you know how they like to hang together.

You'll be happy to know that Daryl had on a shirt with Long Beach Neptunes printed on it, and I was very tolerant. Of course I did ask him to cover that with his arm for the photo.

Hilarious Bill.
I have not heard of sea shell low tide and I am a big Paso guy, Sandi and I will be up there next month with a group for the Tobin James party.
Is the sea shell a cab or a zin? And is it GOOD?
