Epic day out of Panama City

Went spearing out of Panama City this past weekend and had the single best day of diving and spearing i have experienced in 10+ years of diving. Set PRís in Gag (25.3 lbs) Red Grouper (20.85 lbs) and Hogfish (23.5 lbs)!! When we got back to the dock I weighed my Hogfish on an IGFA certified scale, turns out it was exactly 1 pound shy of the Federal USA record. We had unbelievable seas, viz and fish all day Saturday. Just wanted to share the trip with everyone.

Nice guessing a commercial trip the way the boat is set up.

Nice fish all but FYI that hog record is freedive only I believe you'll find. That is by far the biggest I've heard of in the northern GOM.

Not sure, the IGFA website just lists the record for federal waters as 24 lbs 5oz. I couldnít find any kind of qualifiers or designations about how it was taken.

Awesome day of diving, for sure!
Curious what type of structure the gags came from? Ledges vs live bottom vs wrecks.
