Any seals around there? Some buddies in MVI got buzzed. One was diving Tautog, the other was surfing.

yea, over the past few years more of the larger grey type seals have moved in. We still see some of the small black harbor seals hanging around too. The grey colored seals are easily larger then a man, they showed up a couple weeks back and are now in pretty good up here in the bay.

Re: warning mr grey

If there's Seals.. that's the problem. The Real problem now is that nobody is going to be able to pull off a Seal Cull.. It's just never going to be politically correct.. So we have Exploding Seal populations. And GWS federally protected.. hmmm what could possibly happen.

MVI is Martha's Vineyard Island. Who could forget these images from a few years ago when a GWS swam up into one of the swimming ponds on Cuttyhunk during a Lunar High Tide and got stuck in there for 2 weeks...

Re: warning mr grey

Holy crap! I was diving black point also on Sunday. That was the only place to get in with the surf up on that stretch of coast. Kinda wish I had read this before jumping in. It was pretty crappy vis and my first fish was a lucky shot on an albie. Those fish bleed a LOT. So there I was in murky water and a big blood pool...

Didn't see any seals. Didn't see whitey either. Wonder if he saw me?
