Graciasub Spearguns
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience with these spearguns? I have been seeing them here and there on the net, and the quality looks good, but I have never really heard anything about them.
From what I can gather, they use Riffe shafts and are made of teak or mohogany. Any info would be appreciated. |

I make them, use them and highly recommend them! My website graciasub spearguns is currently under construction but you get the idea.

Beautiful guns, excellent craftmanship, very comfortable handle, very accurate. I was given one as a present about a year ago but it was stolen. I would still be using one but can't afford to buy one from the local stores as I've only seen 1 since then and it was priced more than a similar Riffe or Wong gun. May have to wait until I can go to the mainland.

Straight shaft
Nice looking guns! Could you point a few reasons why these guns are "better" choice than a comparable Riffe model. Thanks

Slip Tip,
I've never implied my guns were "better" than Riffe guns. Jay Riffe is a master craftsman and a mentor to most gun makers. His product stands in a class of its own as do Wong guns, Kittos, Steve Alexanders and mine. I strive to afford the custom gun seeking spearfisherman a high quality product that will supply him/her an accurate, reliable and beautiful gun that will bring plenty of fish to the table and years of enjoyment. I will many times use Riffe parts if so requested or I may opt for my own Delrin trigger mech, which many claim to be the most silent they've "never" heard. Delrin-enclosed track, wooden-enclosed track, slip-tips (no pun intended) and break away rigs are just a few of the options I offer the spearo. However, I'm flattered to finally be compared to the greats such as Riffe and Darryl Wong.

Thanks JC!
Here's another one a little more acceptable to South Florida hunting. BTW, looking forward to meeting you after LA!
