Mike, this is rude as all hell, but are you serious? Four divers and four tanks each in a single engine 20' boat that far offshore?

Don't take this the wrong way. Just be safe dude. We don't need to loose anybody else.

Re: Anyone down for diving Claypiles this Saturday?

Was a 35' Wellcraft (see my avatar), We have put 4 divers with 4 tanks each, and 3 other fishermen on the boat and it was totally manageable. I have a knack for putting 10 lbs of crap into a 5 lb bag.

Owner wasn't looking forward to driving down from Dallas anyway. We are going to the floaters this coming weekend if the weather will allow it and we both want to be well rested prior to taking the trip. Besides, it doesn't run less than $200 when we take his boat, so I was saving my play money.

FYI, my boat won't go much past Freeport Liberty ships as far as range. It can go further, but I prefer to not push it too much. Decided to keep diving off my boat limited to 6 tanks on the boat, and no more than 4 divers (2 scuba, 3tanks each, 2 freedivers).

Guess I forgot to state the obvious. My bad.

Oh, and "this weekend" pertains to last weekend, i.e. 10-6-07. Sorry guys, maybe next time. Trevor, if we get another weekend that is clear, i'll give you a holler.

Had to laugh..I had an image of your boat loaded with 16 tanks, 4 scuba, 2 freedivers, 4" of freeboard, and making 6 knots.

Ha Ha.....you won't see anymore of me. I'm moving in with my boyfriend. You're finally rid of me forever.
