Block island/ Montauk july bass
2 day trip to Montauk/Block island jul 18 ,.19th
day 1 had straight mud from gossmans dock to lighthouse, 3-4 ft seas, decided right away to head for Block. 6 miles off montauk point in the boils, MUD colored water still roiling up was getting worried Block would be the same. then at the 3/4 point (almost at Block island) water changed color,, and seas flattened significantly, inside the 3 mile mark ., legal side of SW ledge in 44 ft water we found 9 ft visibility and school of fat Bass. pics to follow |
