Ultimate spearguns?

About 10 years ago I was living in Boca Raton and I was just starting to spearfish, basically tagging along with friends who were doing it comercially but I didnt even have a gun then. There was this guy that had a machine shop and was starting to make a few guns. I think they were called "Ultimates". They were made of stock aircraft aluminum, were very light and acurate. He also made his own PHs, shafts, tips and even a high power heavy duty light.
Has anyone ever heard of them, are they still around? Also I remember that the trigger mechanism was really smooth.

Closed up over 10 years ago. Great gun though, especially the over under 48 they made. Collectors item if you can find them.

Take a look at Patco guns and see if this is a similar gun to what you saw back then. You can just type patcoinc and spearguns and you will find it on your browser.

JCACTION,

The "ultamate" used the broad head tips and the lights from Patco look similar. The guns look a bit different but it has been over 10 years and I didnt own one so dont remember all the details of the gun. The muzzle looks kinda familiar too but thats where it ends. The guy could have sold his design and moved on.

I think the broad heads were the coolest tips. It was like a 3 sided razor blade. It looked like it was used to take down a buck with bow and arrow, but surprisingly it barely left a mark on the fish...just a small "x" were it went through.

Thumbs up Broad head tips

Yeah, those broad head tips have really caught my attention over the last little while. The larger ones are really expensive though. $122 or something like that.
