finally did it... now what?

Well, we finally put in an offer on a place in St. Pete... Coquina Key actually... so now, where should we head spearing?

Congrats. Head west to 40-60ft of water, turn on sidescan and run north & south looking for structure. Shouldn't take too much time to find something interesting enough to dive on.

Just like he says. Put in your time and gas money . You could buy a Strike Lines Fishing chart with plenty of GPS numbers for your area. They have a St. Petersburg Near Shore and a St. Petersburg Offshore. The best stuff is found by always running your bottom machine. Not just turning it on when you're almost to your dive spot. On this coast every time a hurricane or big blow comes thru. Ledges 2' tall or less can become sand covered or uncovered. Irma covered one of my favorites up. But she uncovered more of another ledge that I have. It has more cracks and top holes now for grouper and mangoes.
