Re: Starting a Spearfishing Club in Arizona

Well, I've been talking about this for sometime and really haven't done much to get this club organized. We need to discuss some issues with the starting of the club and upcoming events. At the moment the best place to discuss these issues, is on the AZ Spearfishing club private Spearboard section.

Please PM me if you want to be part of the club and contribute. I will send these to Tony to have you added to the club section. If you're already on the list please don't send a PM. If you have previously sent me a PM and you don't have access to this area please re-pm me.

Re: Starting a Spearfishing Club in Arizona

Sagauro typically holds vis under 2' and only carp and buffalo's can be speared. The Salt river which flows from Sagauro has great winter vis and so so summer vis. Carp and tilapia can be found but ever since the high release two years back tilapia took a hard hit. I'll get you access to the AZ area.

Re: Starting a Spearfishing Club in Arizona

I'd love to join. The guy I spear with doesn't go very often so that means I don't go as often as I'd like! since we like to dive safe. Any way I've been doing this for a few years now and love it! Just wish I had more people to dive with!!

Re: Starting a Spearfishing Club in Arizona

so did this come to be? If so I would love to be part of it.

Any thought to making it a virtual club? Easiest way to get it started. Once rolling if things go well then could move onto a real club.
