Spear Master Tournament

The Spear Master Tournament is on and in full swing. We are working on sponsors and plan on having an EXCELLENT turnout. Last year I think we had around 50 shooters. This time we are hoping to have over 70. We will probably be adding a Junior class and a woman class. Freedivers, would you be interested in your own class? The paypal info. is setup for payment and please remember YOU MUST register early or your entry fee will be raised to $90.00. Checkout www.spear-master.com for more info. and to register. After you pay I will send you your registration information so make sure to put your email address and phone number in the appropriate fields so I can contact you. I am very excited to shoot this tournament!

where are weigh-ins? Are there possible weigh-in stations in Corpus or South Padre?

Re: Spear Master Tournament

Looking forward to it. Do I have to register through the website, or can I just give you the money when I pick up that stuff?

Re: Spear Master Tournament

There's a bit of a discrepancy between your rules and your timeline. Timeline states Safety meeting is wednesday at 7pm, rules state it's Thursday. Could that be changed so that people wouldn't have to take an additional day off work to drive up. I'm sure a few of us have atleast a 4 hour trip to meet and weigh-in. Making it a bit more accessable would be nice. Hell this is the 21st centruy, what about a gasp, online meeting for those of us a bit further south?

Re: Spear Master Tournament

We might have on both days. I am working on that.... Also to avoid you having to drive all the way up here and then back down we can always mail you your team packets after registration. We just have to arrange that ahead of time. As for weigh-in station I will look into it. I would like to see everyones fish to have them for pictures for the webpage.

Re: Spear Master Tournament

It's really not rocket science, register early and it doesn't matter if it's on Wed or Thurs. One weigh-in station, just like any other tournament.

Re: Spear Master Tournament

That's easier for someone from baytown to say. Most of my team members are over 4 hours from Houston.

Re: Spear Master Tournament

We didn't ask the Helldivers for a special weigh-in, Craig and Jasen didn't ask Tony for a special weigh-in at the SBO.

Re: Spear Master Tournament

You guys are misunderstanding each other...BP just wants to know when the SAFETY MEETING is. He isn't trying to change the WEIGH IN.

Scubaru, you just need to register early and make sure you get your fish to the scales between 2pm and 4pm on Sunday.

Re: Spear Master Tournament

Just 1/2 day left to save $15.00 on your contestant registration fees for the Spear Master Tournament. After Midnight August 10th the price will go up to $90.00. Please see www.spear-master.com for registration. Or you can pm me if you would like an additional way to pay. If you can't shoot this tournament check the page early next year for the 2008 dates.

I look forward to shooting with everyone, Craig

There are only 18 people who have registered to date.
