Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

Hit Newport yesterday. Balmy 47 degree water temp and ~10ft viz. I shot a keeper tog and only saw one other that was undersized. Like Bad Willis mentioned, they're in holes.

SurfinScooby nice Biller, looks like holdover

Just got back from Jamestown - ocean surprisingly calm! Forecast shows 2-4' waves, in reality was almost flat! Plenty of togs around. Got my limit. Looking forward for dinner

Hurry up guys, the season will be closed soon.

Nice to see a solid bass from shore!

Has anyone seen any Scup? Have been out the past few weekends in Jamestown/Newport and haven't seen a single one.

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

I have been seeing scup off of Newport for 2 or 3 weeks. I should also mention that I had my first seal encounter yesterday off of Newport.

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread

Thanks Rambo for the "eye candy". I've been slaying the tog good up here in Mass. but the f-%*ers here threw a curve ball at us this year in tog regs. Anyway, this past Friday I nailed a PB 12.5 lbs tog! Will try and post the pic later. Having trouble posting pics as of late.
BTW, the viz was hit or miss with 10 ft. the norm and pockets of 20 ft. plus. Water temp. a comfortable 54 degrees in my 5 ml.
