snorkeling North of ft. Pierce

A few pics of Scott and myself from diving in shallow water in the last few days north of Ft. Pierce.

Decent conditions and some nice fish for a change. At some spots the sharks were a little too interested in us.

It was pretty amazing how docile and uninterested the jewfish were. I shot a mangrove right under a 2-300 lb fish
and he just watched as I retrieved my catch. Nothing liked the trained jewfish in Palm Beach, Jupiter and Stuart. My son was hesitant to shoot in front of them because he has only seen the crazy trained jewfish.

In the last few days we found kings, Spanish Mackeral, Sheepshead, Trigger, mangroves, Mutton, a cubera, hogs and cobia. Might have a little video from the last few days.

Congratulations on some Great Fish, and, all without the hassle of tanks, regulators, BC's, etc. I am envious.

Yup, awesome diving and beautiful fish! It's always a pleasure to dive with you and John. Can't believe I shot my limit of these big monsters Friday plus, a 40lb cobia, and nice king. What a day!!!

Re: snorkeling North of ft. Pierce

And here's pic of my 12 lb mutton (29") taken the previous Sunday diving with you. We definitely had some epic days last week! After not having dove for almost a year (since August) and with Nationals less than a month away, it was definitely time to get back in the water.

Shallow, anchored boat, clean water, full of fish..... looks like a perfect area.. ;-)
