Last Friday Snapper
Went last Friday.
Ripping top current, 0 visibility to about 15ft, but still managed to get a limit of snapper. I was really planning to just rod and reel fish based on the condition reports, and it looked like the river when we got out there. It was so stinking hot that I jumped in just to cool off. Dove down without breathing up much, and hit cold water around 15 to 20ft. Saw a lot of Snapper. Came up and told my buddy to get his gun and jump in. We made a quick limit due to an approaching storm. This was the largest; |

Re: Last Friday Snapper
We were out there Monday and were able to find some clear water. Went yesterday and the silt came through with that same current.

Re: Last Friday Snapper
I couldn't see the red glove on my hand till I got down 20ft or so. Then it opened up enough to use a 90 cm gun. Current was the main problem. Had to stretch a 100ft line behind the boat with a float.
