That is a lot of gun for the money, especially with an Addiction spear. I love the pinned handle, great finish too by the looks.
Best of luck Impaler with your business, very nice hybrid indeed!

Re: 666 Bluewater Hybrid Speargun

Ill share a few as well. I Was out the other day with some friends and there were 2 or 3 impalers on board. Not sure if they were the 666, but they were built by JT. This grouper didnt stand a chance, you can see the hybrid floating on the right.

Hard to see on the last one but, behind him and between his legs is an Impaler floating off in the distance.

tony,
thanks for sharing
that was you with corey and nate?
we passed you guys coming in- in the americat 27
that was a nice black corey got- 33 lbs- right?
corey is a big dude- but he can dive like a beast!
I have seen him go 90 ft without struggling
I am making him a hybrid soon- Nate has 2 of
them and one is the first 66.6 hybrid I made
how about you?
Gave up on the hybrid build?- I could help you out easier these days- if you want to revisit that.

Re: 666 Bluewater Hybrid Speargun

That was me with them, and we had an awesome day. It seems all my BIG ASS diver friends are beasts and good divers, Nate, Cory, Sharrief...i think its their massive lungs already strong legs, and all those extra layers to keep em warm. Hahah, the big boys dont mess around. JT from the warf was on board as well, he pulled a grouper with no shaft in it out of a hole and wrestled with it on the bottom till he could pin it down and wrap his arms around it. It tried swimming away but he grabbed that thing by the tail and pulled him back in, at 33 feet down. He bear hugged it and swam it to the boat. It was one of the coolest things ive seen in a long time.

I remember when nate got that gun, i believe its serial number is 004. That gun has held up strong and killed quite a few fish, i still havnt shot it yet, maybe next time ill try it out.
I didnt give up on anything, its just still on the back burner. At the time I opened my store and the jet ski rental, plus about 15 other things going on, now ive only added more shit to that list. I have quite a few other projects in front of the hybrid, so at some point ill get back on it. I recently have been doing some things with my larger blank tho and will probably do something with that first. But will certainly let you know when I am ready.

Re: 666 Bluewater Hybrid Speargun

I spoke with Jason a bunch over PM...he answered a ton of questions and was very fast in replying.
I am curious, does anyone else have any reviews or first hand knowledge from using his 666?
Maybe when compared with other rear plus- versus say a wong super mag?
Thanks!
