Re: Daily Vis Report Thread
Jumped in a Kings at 6am. The vis wasn't great but it got better as the sun came up 5-7'. I saw those jacks, one short bass and a ton of scup. In the early morning they are a lot less spooky. I shot one scup but then had to go collect algae for one of my classes. The water felt much warmer than the air.

decent vis around jamestown today. Don't let the surface vis discourage you, around 25' deep it cleared up to about 6' and better

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread
Agreed with the above. It was minimum wage when we first jumped out the boat on reefs near seal rock, however it quickly changed as the tide was coming back in 6-8 in some spots. 10 or so after 20 feet or so like msuzuki said.
Got dropped off near shore to do a few dives while the tide took me in. Vis 5-6ft then the strangest colored water ive ever seen. It looked like something had been mauled and blood was in the water, like some kind of pomegranate tea . It was surface to bottom too and next thing i knew I would swim through it into blue water again. Very spotty/sketchy because the vis in this tea was 2 ft!

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread
BI today. Quite rough but the viz was awesome. Could see the bottom from the surface in 50 fsw. Horizontal viz on the bottom seemed to be even better.

Re: Daily Vis Report Thread
Went with Kevin on his boat. In Newport on Sunday: outside the bay - green water and false bottom of stirred mud even at 35 feet. inside the bay - pockets of 10 feet. Saw quite a few smaller bass and blue fish. Shot 3 togs and one blue fish.
