Guys, Matt had a 3-fer. His first Gag, first flounder, and first ARS - and yeah, he got the only gag, flounder, and ARS on the boat.
Will be cooking some up this week!

If only every day were like that lol. What can i say, you put me on a hell of a spot . Had a great time as always and appreciate the trip!

No, I think Dave typed it exactly the way he wanted to, it just wasn't in a manner that you were picking up what he was laying down. Let me paraphrase for you to help clear up any confusion

Viz from the surface to a depth of 65' was very bright and clear. At 65', there was a significant thermocline and I stayed in a skin and hood, but others were pu**sies and resorted to putting on 5 mil wetsuits. The viz below the thermocline dropped to 30' and wasn't as bright.

LOL! All true, but I wouldn't call any names!

It WAS cold down there initially, but I was ready to rip off my 2 mil suit once coming up and getting above the thermocline. I'm only down there for about 10-12 min, and was able to get used to it pretty quick. So I preferred the skin. It also makes my buoyancy much easier to control and more predictable on the way up not having any neoprene.

I'll admit I'm one of those pu**sies that uses a 3 mil in 80 degree water in 45' in the summer......tried using just a skin before in July/August and can't do it. Then again, I consider air temp under 70 too cold for me, even though I sweat my ass off, I love the heat.

Out 7/3/2020 in Clearwater in 90'
Viz was 60' to start day. Declined to 30' as day went on and we went shallower. Lot of fish. Temp 79 degrees on bottom. Thermo at 75'. Only about a 5 degree change.

Out of Johnís Pass, 7/3. Viz less than 20í in 50í. Turned out to be very rough waters. Had fun taking to boat for a cruise on my day off nonetheless.
