Re: Beach Vis

Riomar was around 25ft of vis for us today. Slim pickins though! Clearly got raided all night and morning.

Re: Beach Vis

Went out of Wabasso, viz was all over the place. Sometimes it was 5 to 10, then 15, and then 20 depending on how far out you were. In to close bad viz, out too far bad viz. Had to find that sweet spot. Oh and the Disney resort needs to stop letting their guests use Jet ski's on the beach, as they clearly do not know what a dive flag is, or don't care, because I was almost hit by a Jet ski 3 times today.

Re: Beach Vis

Ran down to round island at lunch today and it looked very dirty. I'd bet money it'll be at least doable by tomorrow afternoon. It was like a lake out there.

Re: Beach Vis

Hit FP inlet north side around 2pm on Friday afternoon ~20ft viz when we started then murked up as the tide rolled in. Thought it would get better as the tide came in, was definitely wrong on that. There was a decent thermocline as well. Took me by surprise. Got 18" mutton and some other nice lane snapper. ALSO, saw the local FPI goliath grouper hanging out at my dock that day, came up into ~3 foot of water sideways so it could pick up the fish scraps. Followed by two bullsharks around 7-8ft. Last time I dive under that dock in bad viz!

Gunna hit the same spot Sunday if anyone wants to join.

Re: Beach Vis

Dove ft pierce 70' this morning. 30' viz and water was chilly, don't have temp gauge. Grouper were holed up. Shot a nice gag and caught a few bugs. Beach looked clear.
