80 ft due west of Anclote still milky 20 ft up top but no vis yet another few days and some light easterlies may clean it up!

135' due west of JP was a beautiful pastel shade of blue on Sunday. Much prefer the deep blue shade with top to bottom vis.

I went out today, vis was good on top and really bad on the bottom. 6-7 foot in 45-50 foot of water off of Anna Maria Island.

Vis was about 15' on the bottom, just west of Clearwater yesterday. We were in about 45' of water. surface of the gulf was amazing though.

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Dove Saturday out of Sarasota. in 35' of water the vis was decent on top but only like 3' on the bottom. Whenever it gets really stirred up the top cleans up first. looks to be calm all week, the vis should continue to get better

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

Spearin239....not sure where you are planning to launch from but the Northern Pinellas area has pretty good vis at 60 ft in most areas 20 -30ft and good in 50 in some areas but not great depends on the current...we are seeing a definite change at 60 Plus! hope that helps.

Re: Current Vis - Tampa Bay Region (Homosassa to Sarasota)

yesterday out of Sarasota in 30fsw vis was only maybe 10' on top and 3-5' on the bottom. had a little bull shark come to check us out as well, no issues though left after a poke
