Re: Very sad news; Tailsurfer, AKA Josh Bouna is presumed lost to the sea.

Shocking news at this terrible loss, but at least there is closure. Staring out to sea when someone disappears without trace is a soul destroying experience.

I assume that there will be an inquest to find out what was the causal factor.

My sincere condolences to family and friends. RIP.

When I was just getting started in the sport, I dove several times with Josh. We didn't see eye to eye some issues, but he still shared his love of the ocean: dive spots, productive areas, fish sightings and stories. That kind of camaraderie was invaluable, and I will never forget it.

May he rest in peace.

Closure for family and friends is extremely important.

May Josh rest in eternal peace.

Josh seemed to follow this quote in my signature:

“Live this day as if it will be your last. Remember that you will only find 'tomorrow' on the calendars of fools.”

---- Success Unlimited Author Og Mandino b.1923 - d.1996

The spearfishing community expresses condolences to Josh's family and friends.
