Out of JP 6-11-20
Went to a spot in 119'. From the boat the water was a nice deep blue on the surface. Whole different story on the bottom. I went thru 2 thermoclines. Each one darken the water and cut down the vis.. My speargun almost touched bottom before me. My buddy and I couldn't see 5' . Back up we went. Headed to shallower water. Dove in the 80-85' range. Great news . The gumbo was almost all gone. Horz. vis. a good 30'. No thermocline. We got some hogs, mangoes and gags. Saw a few small ARS. Seas were about 1 foot.
