If you go south west another 20 miles you small ones will be the size of your large one, not saying it your snap is small by any means just letting you know. Our avg in 165ft was around 15-20 lbs, it was crazy.. Nice fish |

Re: Sunday on the Pipeline
Hey thanks for the information. We were in an area with alot of commercial boats working. Very few grouper, but hogs and mango's if diving and you already had your two ARS's. Snapper are a pain when fishing as you say because you can't get past them. We will try further South next time.

Re: Sunday on the Pipeline
I was wondering, how far do the rock piles follow the pipeline? I thought that the rocks stopped at around 90 FSW. Do the rocks continue out to the south of the Middle Grounds? We were diving the pipeline rocks in 85 FSW and loaded up on Goes, but never saw one ARS.

Re: Sunday on the Pipeline
Hey Hogwild
The rockpiles were real sparse out there. I saw more South of Clearwater in 120 feet another time. It seemed to be more natural hard bottom that attracted the fish and they were near the pipeline. I have friends off Lecanto saying the were getting ARS's in 50 feet and limited out on grouper also. I am going to have to go visit and see myself. |

Re: Sunday on the Pipeline
Aqua-Assassin,
Thanks for the idea of Lecanto. The pipline has been a dessert for ARS.
