Nov 1 J.R. II M.G. Trip

I still would like to find someone to take my seat for this trip,or maybe trade a seat for a later date. This is a HELL of a good time to do the M.G.and you would be hard pressed to get a seat till after the 1st of the year.....

You can E-MAIL me if you want to know more..

It certainly helps. Years ago however I did many trips on straight air. We are probably going to be pretty shallow the whole trip, probably no deeper than 110', you'll probably end up doing longer safety stops is all. Let me know.

If you have a computer and dive conservative, you should be able to work in 4 dives on Saturday and 2 on Sunday.

Hurry up and get that nitrox certification and you'll be hanging at 120' for 30 minutes or so and ready to do it again with a short surface interval.

well i think i am going to sit this one out unfortunately. i cant get my nitrox cert until nov. 9. i know i could go anyway but i would rather wait and not go sort of half ass. i am hoping that this talk of no seats until after the 1st of the year is not true because i will be ready after nov. 9. seems like in the winter there would be less people wanting to go but i quess since everyone around here is so hardcore that cold is not a factor.

Hay Grand I too did the MG on air years ago did 4 dives a day with AL 80s only a little deco on the last dive of the day some times .
If you did 3 Sat & 3 SUN on AL 80s you would be ok nice long INT.
If you dive HP 120s then I would say no.
By all means though do it right or don't do it at all !!
Yes it is a HARD CORE trip but you know what the crew and everyone on deck will help you out thats the way it is on the JRII
no one is made to do a thing thats not right your safty is the 1st
thing they think of.

I may be interested...I looked on the website but did not see a departure/return time for Fri/Sunday. Do you guys know what these times are?

Also, I only have two tanks. Is it feasible and/or possible to rent nitrox tanks over there? They are kinda hard to rent over here.

Thanks.

Because of the tides we are leaving on 11AM Friday, and returning Sunday late afternoon. No place in Steinhatchee for nitrox, but I got to believe that somewhere in Jupiter or nearby will hook you up. Send me a private message with your email, and we can get in contact.

Ok, I should have just asked the question about departure before tank info. I cannot possibly make it over there by the time it leaves that particular day, but could for another weekend trip if I planned ahead. Actually, day or overnight trips may be easier for me during the week. Sorry it can't work out - I really want to get out there. My email is kingfish512@hotmail.com for future stuff.

Blow out by a nose. Some of the local stuff should be do-able.
