I think the large ship you might have seen in the distance was a Mex Navy ship parked out on the newly found scallop mountain offshore. They are hitting up any divers that are out there harvesting. Or it could have been Sea Shepherd Im not sure what boat you might have seen. They have a large white Navy style ship and a big sailboat too.
