I think i found your tiger shark smesh!
right after i saw that thread i caught this cool looking leopard on film. I also caught 6 leopards in one dive the same day. Not a tiger but doesn't have a typical leopard shark pattern. I tried to shoot it but couldn't get close enough for a shot. Can someone please tell me what the thing at the end was??

That is defiantly not a Tiger... It has two sets of pectoral fins. Pretty sure it's just a leopard with jacked up patterns. Tail and other key fins are spot on.

I'm pretty sure he's just referencing the time smesh saw the ravenous tiger shark of Southern California.

Guess I missed the reference. Are they rare in SoCal? All the maps show them up past SD.

I thought it looked more like a jaguar shark than a leopard shark.

Re: I think i found your tiger shark smesh!
Hey I got it for one sec!! Lol ya it sucks when it's pointed a lil to far down and the whole dive is just out of frame. I mask mounted it and when it's pointed right it's usually a great shot except when your 6 inches Away like that shot. It's weird cuz in the editor that "Spanish shawl" (thanks unka) was in frame the whole time
Tommy nailed it def jag unicorn shark. Jd I even said it wasn't a tiger shark multiple times in my first post........ Guess you just read the tread title, watched the vid and replied... Tigers also have a squared off nose.

I hooked my gopro up to my flashlight at night a few weeks ago and let it roll while I grabbed a nice limit of bugs and when I got back to the boat, I saw that for some reason the camera was powered off and when I checked the card, there was no video file. No idea what happened.

[quote=Trimbandit;2024000]It always seems to happen to me on the days that the most awesome things happen lol.
Prove it! Lol It's hard to film with the go pro at night cuz it doesn't pick up the refracted light, it just gets the beam. At least with my version 1 go pro lol. I bought a hero 3 and went dirtbiking up in big bear with it. It got closelined by a branch off my helmet and fell down a cliff!! So I won't know how those are at night for a while. I loved how much smaller they were too!! Especially for the mask mount.

It looks to be a Spanish dancer, they are related to sea slugs. Cool video
