Re: what fins for rough seas?
Hands down. DiveR. They are without doubt the toughest fins on the market. Hell if you break a pair (while diving) I will buy the replacement myself. They're indestructible.

Re: what fins for rough seas?
I am just finding this out! The mako medium carbons are crazy stiff!! They make it very uncomfortable to do long dives with them. They actually make me want to go back fiberglass as they felt and performed better than these carbons.

Re: what fins for rough seas?
Funny I got on here to research some free diving fins and this came up, when I hit two days post probably what I kind a new but yet still a decision. Yet most everything was put into this thread on the long fins.
TeamDiesel not sure on the sluts whether that's the name of the fish Or if it's that they have sex with any Fish.

Re: what fins for rough seas?
The best all round fins that I have ever used are Cressi Master Frog. They are open heel so you can wear boots if its a rocky entry without having to wear other footware. They give good propulsion and seem to be pretty tough, I use them for bodyboarding if its white horses time and the water is really moving, I swim in them and spearfish with them. Add some spring straps and your away They do take some powering but the reason I like them is that they are good for a steady speed, even in current and if you've got the legs they also have a good turn of speed................... I like them anyway ............... plus they are really well priced and that's always a bonus!
