Mako Ar15 ETR Saftey Prob

My Mako Ar15 ETR safety has been locking up on safe, to move it to fire I have to tap the saftey with a hammer to move it to fire, this happens about every 1 to 10 times. Rust or derby isn't the cause because I religiously clean it after use. Any ideas?

Not sure what the problem is but they will make it right for you. No worries there. Give them a call and let us know how it worked out.

Re: Mako Ar15 ETR Saftey Prob

Call Dano at 1-540-1570. He will be on it like "white on rice" and will make it right. By the way, it's a good idea to contact the supplier for a solution to your problem BEFORE you go to the public for a solution. The supplier is going to know more about the component, and therefore is in a much better position to fix your problem right the first time, rather than speculate on what the problem might be or how to fix it. He also has more options, such as providing a new component and getting the old one for examination for cause of failure. And finally, it's only fair to give the supplier a chance to fix a problem before you go public with it. He has a vested interest in fixing the problem.

It is probably some salt build up. It does not matter how well you clean it.
