I knew Andrew and I spoke to someone that was there when the incident happened. Apparently he went out saving a young girl who would have been struck by the boat if not for his actions. RIP Red

Re: RIP Andrew Harris - Diver struck by boat near Jupiter Inlet - June 8, 2014

One summer I had a salvage boat operating just south of Jupiter inlet. One of the most dangerous places on earth. Have been over every square inch of Fla waters and that area was bad. Gave up trying to dive weekends and during the week was scary. Never saw so many oblivious, rude idiots with go fast boats.Hated the place. Now a young man is gone. Probably rich attorney who will get away with it. Hope not.

This is older news but I am wondering, does anyone know what happened to the reckless boater that took this innocent life?
