MA Freedivers Invitational Tournament
The Mass Freedivers Mass Invitational Spearfishing Tournament invites you to compete on Saturday, May 27th.
The tournament is being held at King's Beach in Newport, RI Registration begins at 8:00 am and runs through 8:45. Launch will be at 9:00 am sharp. You must be back to the launch by 2:00 pm to qualify for weigh ins. The entrance fee is $20 payable by cash, PayPal, or Venmo. You may also pay your yearly registration for Mass Freedivers club membership at that time. For those under 18 years old. Please remember to have your guardian sign the waiver at the registration table before entering. You must have a valid saltwater fishing license, a dive flag, a knife, a whistle (or other signalling device) and a PFD (Only if using a kayak, SUP, or other human propelled craft.). Happy hunting! |

As a tristate skindivers member am I good to compete or do I need to join MA freedivers? I'm new to the club and competitions.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the Mass Freedivers Invitational Spearfishing Tournament. This club would not exist without your participation. Despite large swells and poor visibility, competitors managed to make the best of things. The final placements are as follows. In first place, Olivier Lauzon 21.0 points and the largest fish landed during the tournament. In second place, Rene René Potvin with 8.6 points. In third place, Mike Meyer with 5.4 points. Congratulations to the winners. |
