Correct lead weight for distributed weights?
I have not been diving for the last 2 years (was living way out in the desert), now back in Baja. I'm headed out tomorrow for my first serious dive day. Safety reorientation: All information I can find on weighting-to-neutral-depth is based on a weight belt only.
I am super bouyant (high BMI), plus I will be wearing a 3 mil wetsuit. In the past, my total lead was 16-18#. Due to back issues, I distribute lead in 3 locations: Ankles (2x1.5lb to keep my fins on the bottom), Waist (appx 4#), and Vest (my primary weight location, 9-11#). For first few weeks I plan to hunt at only 25'-40'... I want my neutral bouyancy weight at about 20'. A question occurred to me: Is there any different method for finding NB using distributed lead?
