Cool Ponce Inlet

I have great spearfishing spots in Ponce Inlet...everything Lobster, Ajs, Grouper, and flouder...i need some new dive buddys. I have a 2007 Parker 2520 xld with twin 200s. Anyone looking to some fish? Just need to be able to throw in on gas. I have 172 spots im working on marking them all and need some experienced divers like myself. Depth is 100-70 ft nitrox blends.

Re: Ponce Inlet

First of all,how many divers do you take and average fuel cost?
I'm in if is in the 50-75$ range for I have a 2 hr drive to get there
So would cost me about 100$ for a trip

Re: Ponce Inlet

currious anyone spearfishes the tip of the jetty. i see alot of boats fishing it, and catching fish. also anyone know if this jetty can be done in a small zodiac or kayak? and how difficult is it to go back up against the tide.

I've never seen anyone do it, but im sure it would be an interesting dive.

The tide would be absolutely killer though

The warden will ticket you if do! I was told its technically legal and to go ahead and do it so I could be the test case in court, I declined. The jetty is a very nice if dove at high tide.
