Nice gun man. After this many pages you have to report back after you shoot it now!

I'm guessing it will shoot better with 3 bands than 4. Good luck.

@Castronova, since this is a thread about the Abellan and Bleutec guns, do you mind posting a photo of the Denton alongside the Albacore? I for one would like to see the size difference between the two...even though I'm 95% sure the Denton 120 is my cup of tea

I purchased the Albacore specifically for Pacific Dogtooth tuna it's the perfect gun for the large fish. It is not a small gun and not suited for smaller fish.

That 95% just went up to 99.7% Would still love to see a side by side comparison though

Here you go. I also agree the Albacore is not for small fish. The grouper in my avatar I shot with the Denton 120, through the head. Stoned and strung. It also has plenty of power. 80#

No problem. I have no idea how they turned sideways.

The muzzle seemed normal to me. I only have shot it a few times with that shaft, it's an 8mm. I have shot it quite a bit with an 8.7mm shaft and slip-tip and it was exactly what it was supposed to be.

Good to see nothing's changed in the time I've been away from spearboard. Except for a few new guns.
