Razorlite kayak for spearo

Razorlite is a new inflatable kayak on the market that promises paddling performance like a hardshell. I'm thinking about it for spearing and lobstering around san diego. Probably launch from la jolla shores and paddle a mile. I would get the double so I can take my son. 90% free diving, 10% scuba. I'm not afraid of poking holes in it since I've been using a zodiac for years. Would be way more convenient than hardshell. Any reason I should avoid it?

Re: Razorlite kayak for spearo

I would not buy that model if you have to launch / land in surf zones.
This kayak have no place for the gear...
I mean no tank, no deck bungee, no bow hatch...
You will loose all your gear without stowing it on the first flip, kayak is not that stable as a Zodiac.

If you are ok with that, so I see no other problems.
