He may be admiring the boat, and want to talk to the owner about it, or make an offer...or the owner was on "his private secret dive spot" and he wants to give him some shit?

Re: Lookin for the owner of this boat...
Either he or another guy that knows him is all over BloodyDecks. Go to the all about boats section, search for threads with "skiff" , there was a long thread. A bunch of guys from central and Nor cal posting up rad little boats...Radons etc...
If I'm not mistaken, this is Hobie Power Skiff conversion. Either way, cool little skiff. I've got a 1990 Hobie, love that boat, have taken it everywhere.

Re: Lookin for the owner of this boat...
It's Tim Bigley's. He'll list the boat for sale every three/four years, then not sell it. He recently listed it about a year ago. So, be ready in another 2 years. Last list price was $49k, so be ready to roll. No sea trial.
Just for clarification, the boat is a 17x8 Don Radon that Don added a bracket to, back around 2012(ish). I think that Honda has under 50 hours. I tried to buy it in 2013, for full asking...never happened so I built a Greenough 17 instead. Last edited by Canyon; 06-04-2020 at 09:06 AM. |
