All, I am looking to place an order for an FRV Mark III ( Freedivers Recovery Vest) from Oceanic Safety Systems soon. Terry Maas advised when purchased in bulk, we could get a 5-10% discount on the price (thanks Terry!). If we can get 5-10 people on board, we can cut our costs from $1,300 down to $1,170. Maybe if we hit 20, we can drive the price even lower!

This 3rd Generation recovery vest (FRV Mark III Streamlined), is designed for breath-hold divers. It allows the user to program their maximum time and depth for a single dive. Should the freediver exceed either their custom time or depth trigger, the FRV will inflate, delivering the freediver face first to the surface. In addition, the FRV can be configured so the user must acknowledge their consciousness at the surface after 15 seconds.

Seems to me like you could buy a wing and small pony bottle to accomplish the same thing for a fraction of the price.
